Its about few days back when I was at my friend’s shop (He is a wholesaler of Rice, Oil, and few other general items) . I was at counter to collect money from the customers when a lady of my mother’s age came there and ask for rice of 26 Rs/ Kg (which is now 34 Rs/ Kg). After having few words with her on Mehngai, I felt my hands shaking. Really its impossible for a person who works on daily wages or a light skill man ( referring to Mazdoor etc) to run his house in that little income. What do you think, is it possible for every man in the third world country to earn at least 10-15K ? How could it be possible for a country in which 45% of the people living under poverty line ( please remember the key word is under ) and the literacy rate ( a person is literate in Pakistan who can write and read his name) is 26-30% .
I have read this somewhere on net that its about revolution days of France when people gather in front of the King’s palace for protest. The king ask his fellows that why these people are shouting?? They fellows replied, they are hungry and they want breads which is unavailable. The king replied, why not they eat cake(these lines aren’t correct please provide correct wordings and I’ll edit it) ??? People who do not have to pay for the regular things can give these statements but what about those who have to pay for each item they buy.
